Thirteen Days

How long will I want to want you

How far can we push the power play

Can I trust you with the will of my heart,

It’s been thirteen days since I felt you on my skin

Don’t want a wait for it, want you here with me.

Another day goes by without the touch of your lips on mine

What’s going on, what’s going on between us

Is it any wonder my knees go weak

Is it any wonder the taste of you ligers on my lips

Blush is the colour of my cheeks,

With visions of your picture perfect smile

Thirteen days, and thirteen years between us,

I can’t taste the difference in age on my lips.

The warmth of your touch disarms me

How long will it take till we’re tangled up in my sheets,

You’re the one I want on me.
